My name is John Racioppa and I am the Pastor here at WFBC. My wife Shelly and I own three children, Emilee, Mollie and John Luke. I came to lead WFBC in April, 2010. My wife and I grew up in Texas and we both were raised in preachers homes. We have spent the last 16 years serving God in the full-time ministry in 4 different states.  I love being around people and find all areas of ministry fulfilling. I enjoy teaching the Word of God in a way that is compelling, life changing and often times humorous by interjecting my own personal life stories. My desire is  first and foremost to see people saved and then to help Christ followers understand that God's Word is not an ancient, out of date book of stories but real and applicable to each and every life today. I enjoy spending time with my family, working outside and hunting...anywhere and anything. Oh I almost forgot, I am a HUGE Dallas Cowboy fan and Texas Rangers Fan!

Hi, I am Melissa Smith. I have been serving as WFBC's secretary since the fall of 2006. My family and I have called WFBC our church home since 2000. My husband, Gary and I have 4 children, Kevin, Devon, Colter and Kayden. I have served in several areas in our church, but I am most passionate about the Outreach Ministries that we offer. I feel that meeting a personal need in someones life is the best way to show them the love of Christ. I am also a Cub Scout Leader and a regular volunteer at my children's school.

Our members here at WFBC are vital parts of our ministry as well. Just look around every corner or classroom and you will see many people serving and leading others. At WFBC, our motto is not what can the church do for me but rather what can I do for the church? We encourage our church family to not just be passive members but rather become active doers...That is Ministry!
